Founded in 2013, Janessa Leoné’s eponymous brand was born from a desire to reimagine classic silhouettes with a modern twist, reflecting the essence of a bygone era while remaining relevant to contemporary tastes. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to craftsmanship, Janessa Leoné’s creations transcend fleeting trends, embodying a sense of enduring elegance and effortless style.

Janessa approached our agency in 2014 with a vision to revitalize her brand identity and establish a creative direction that would set the stage for her ascent in the fashion industry. As her partner, we embarked on a collaborative journey to translate her vision into tangible brand elements, infusing each design with the essence of timeless sophistication and refined modernity.

Visual Identity

Crafted with precision, Janessa Leoné’s core wordmark exudes simplicity and modernity, with each letterform meticulously designed to evoke the subtle edge of the brand’s products, represented through a 45-degree edge on the ends of each letterform and accent mark.

The monogram and submark serve as intelligent, geometric representations of the brand’s initials, offering versatility and visual impact across various applications. Each element embodies simplicity and sophistication, enhancing the brand’s visual identity with understated elegance.

Color Palette

Drawing inspiration from the brand’s fabric selections, the color palette exudes richness and balance, with warm black, parchment grey, and light beige tones combining to evoke a sense of understated luxury and enduring elegance.


Janessa Leoné’s typography suite complements the brand’s aesthetic with clean and modern sans-serif typefaces that enhance legibility and sophistication across all brand communications.


The brand identity extends seamlessly across print collateral and packaging design, including in-store signage at the brand’s flagship store in Culver City, California.


Inspired by the angles of the core wordmark, the diagonal line detail adds a dynamic visual element that unifies Janessa Leoné’s print and packaging materials. This detail reflects the brand’s commitment to a future-forward approach, including the development of a regenerative wool and leather supply chain.
