A California getaway that transports through our most powerful senses.

Altalune, a restful retreat hidden in Sonoma Valley, provides a multi-sensory getaway experience for the modern woman. Their rolling green hills, curated interiors, and tasteful artisan goods create an immersive landscape for guests to relax into the present moment. We knew we wanted to carry this sense of transportation and ease into our creative development, so we started by invoking the features that made Altalune such a rich and nourishing space.

We tethered the brand to its picturesque backdrop by bringing in soft greens, yellows, blues, and warm terracotta to compliment its locale. From there, we created an air of nostalgia by giving the typeface a mature, textured, and handwritten feel. It needed to appear both timeless and distinctive.

With a diverse range of products and offerings, it was essential that Altalune’s visual identity could translate effortlessly across various verticals. That’s why we opted for a simple yet elegant wordmark that could stand on its own without creating too much noise. The final result was a meaningful, layered, and well-rounded brand identity with flares of nature and history.
